Laney McGee gave East Jackson fits, as he bagged four hits in Indians’s 12-2 victory on Tuesday. McGee singled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the third, and singled in the fifth.

East Jackson got things moving in the first inning, when Lindsey Little singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Indians pulled away for good with six runs in the second inning. In the second Dariyah Bell singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, McGee singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, an error scored three runs for Indians, and an error scored one run for Indians.

Allie Huff took the win for Indians. He lasted five innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out five.

Isabel Harrison took the loss for East Jackson. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing 14 hits and 12 runs while striking out three and walking one.

Indians racked up 14 hits in the game. McGee, Bell, Tenley Boyd, and Brenna McCall all managed multiple hits for Indians. McGee led Indians with four hits in four at bats.

Madison Bruce went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead East Jackson in hits.
