Nothing came easy for Indians on Monday, as they fell 8-2 to Prince Avenue Christian

In the first inning, Prince Avenue Christian got their offense started when Maggie Griffeth’s sac fly scored one run for Prince Avenue Christian.

Prince Avenue Christian pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth an error scored one run for Prince Avenue Christian and Karlee Armstrong singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Prince Avenue Christian scored three runs in the seventh inning. Prince Avenue Christian offense in the inning was led by Lauren MacDonald and Jordan Chamberlin, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Maddi Gillespie took the win for Prince Avenue Christian. He surrendered two runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking one.

Allie Huff took the loss for Indians. He lasted seven innings, allowing 11 hits and eight runs while striking out six.

Tenley Boyd, Jasmine Lowery, Laney McGee, and Kaylin Snyder each managed one hit to lead Indians.

Prince Avenue Christian tallied 11 hits in the game. Armstrong, Gillespie, MacDonald, and Audrey Vandagriff all managed multiple hits for Prince Avenue Christian. Armstrong led Prince Avenue Christian with three hits in four at bats.
