Indians News · LADY INDIANS TENNIS ADVANCES TO FINAL FOUR


The Lady Indians tennis team defeated back-to-back region champions and advanced to the state playoff final four. On Wednesday, April 28, the Lady Indians beat Morgan County by a match score of 3-2.  The Maidens swept both doubles contests and then won a dramatic match at #1 singles.  The #2 doubles team of Erin Terrell & Abby Whitfield won 6-0 6-3;  #1 doubles tandem of Kaylin Snyder & Tenley Boyd won 4-6  6-2  6-2; and #1 singles player Madison Rogers clinched the afternoon contest with her 6-2  7-5 win. With this win, the Lady Indians set a new school record for most wins in a season.  The Maidens overall record is 17-3.  The Lady Indians will next play at home vs. GACS Friday, April 30.  Match time will be 5:00pm  soon.
