Indians Baseball Recognitions and Awards

The Indian’s 2021 baseball season concluded last night with an awards banquet recognizing eight seniors and four all-region players. Hank Arrowood, Carson Boyd, Jacob Grafton, Seth Jameson, Issac McCollum, Mason Roberts, William Rudeseal, and Ian Rumsey were all contributing seniors for the Indians this season. INDIANS TENNIS POST SEASON AWARDS

On Wednesday, May 12, the SCHS Indians tennis team held their end-of-the-season pizza party and awards ceremony.  Five of the Tribe were recognized for their achievements this season: GRIFFIN WILKINSON:  2nd team all region singles KYLE WATSON:  2nd team all region doubles & War Party Award (total effort in practice & match play) KENNY COLWELL:

SCHS Indian Baseball Banquet

The Stephens county baseball team will hold its annual baseball banquet on May 13 at 6pm in the cafeteria at SCHS.  The banquet will recognize the players for all their hard work this season.  A meal will be provided to those that attend.  The meal is 5 dollars and will be collected at the door. 

STEPHENS COUNTY STATE TRACK QUALIFIERS

STEPHENS COUNTY STATE TRACK QUALIFIERS This past Saturday, the Stephens County Track team traveled to East Jackson High School, for the Georgia Sectionals.  The Indians competed well and have several that have qualified for the State Track Meet, in Albany, Ga. Athletes had to finish in the top 8 of their event to move on

LADY INDIANS TENNIS SEASON ENDS

 The Lady Indians tennis team’s remarkable run in the state playoffs ended Friday at home with a loss to a good GACS squad. The Maidens had advanced to the final four but lost by a match score of  1-3.  Madison Rogers got the lone win for the Maidens with her 6-4  6-0 victory at #1

LADY INDIANS HOST FINAL FOUR MATCH TODAY

Due to the benefit of a GHSA Universal coin flip”, the Lady Indians will host GACS in the state tennis tournament final four match today, April 30 at the SC Tennis Complex.  The Lady Indians have set 5 school records this remarkable season.  Their matches will begin at 5:00 PM.  Admission is free and the
